I remember back when I was a kid, renting a VHS of the Spider-Man cartoon from the library. When the show finished, right before the screen went black, Stan the man showed up in a behind the scenes feature. That had to be the first time I saw a creator speak about his work.
I like to think that seeing there was person behind this world and the characters that inhabited it, fueled my delusion that one day I could do the same thing.
So RIP, Stan Lee. Thanks for giving us so many memorable heroes, villains, & everything in between. Rock on and of course EXCELSIOR! 🤘

On October 31, 2013 I drew this demonic duo for the first time.
Since then, they’ve changed and a lot and evolved into what they are
now… But the original dysfunctional, batshit crazy dynamic that had
initially drawn me in has remained. Happy Halloween 😈
